Christmas Scrap Quilt

I thought I had finished using all my Christmas scraps in this little quilt. It's
 18 1/2" x 26 1/2."

Here is a closeup showing holly leaves and berries in the quilting.

It fits perfectly on my mom's antique table!

I was looking through my 3" & 3 1/2" bins and look what I found?
I guess I'll save these for a future project! Drats!

My beginner course from EQ7 had us design this block. I really stepped out of my comfort zone by playing with different colors. The quilt I designed is set on-point. I have 27 more to make.  I am slower these days because I still have the splint on my thumb.

I always have multiple projects going on.  Here is a scrappy quilt I have been working on at quilt group. The designer is Carrie Nelson of Miss Rosie's Quilt Co.  I love her work! It is 78" square.  I plan to add a plain border around the outside to make it big enough to use in our motorhome.

Happy Thanksgiving!  May your day be filled with family, friends, fun and possibly an ice cream cake!
